About the Book
Puffy is a fun story about the relationship between a girl and her hair. They go through the ups and downs of an everyday friendship and in the end remember how important it is to love each other. Puffy’s inspiration comes from the curiosity of wondering what our hair would say if it could talk. Our hope is for young girls to reflect on loving their hair and to get them excited about taking care of it. Puffy is an open invitation for every young reader to connect with and expand their imaginations.
About the Authors
Kelechi Onyejiaka and Nastasha Pollard met at the University of Miami and have been best friends for over 10 years. They share a love for traveling, investing, cycling, and story telling. They are passionate about their stories celebrating diversity and providing young girls with characters that are a reflection of themselves. Nastasha currently resides in New York City where she is the CEO of her own business providing Anesthesia at hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, and private offices. Kelechi currently resides in Philadelphia working on her dream of becoming a world renowned Dentist and running an online tutoring business.
